I started my own law practice in 2013 after working in a high-volume personal injury firm and thinking there must be a better way to do business, that treats clients with respect and operates with transparency. I decided to take the skills learned at my job and in law school, and to provide high quality legal services directly to clients. My goal was not to maximize the volume of clients but to achieve the best possible legal outcomes for each.

Initially the majority of my clients came for family law, commercial litigation and small business legal matters. My first case to go to trial was in 2013 and it was an extremely old and contentious family law dispute, and I obtained the best possible legal outcome for my client. I worked on the side as a bookkeeper for nonprofits and small businesses, all the while gaining knowledge of small business tax and compliance matters. By 2016 my practice expanded into nonprofits, Title 19, real estate transactions, elder law issues, probate, and intellectual property protection. I've helped clients found nonprofits to provide public services, create trade associations, and even co-founded a nature conservancy with my wife and area advocates!

I also help people with certain criminal law matters. Good people make mistakes, and should not be judged by their worst day, but rather by the totality of their character. We assist in the speedy processing and safety of clients in Police custody, ensuring clients are fully aware of their rights as defendants, and to bring matters to court in a reasonable, efficient and effective manner.

Most recently I have added a real estate practice, assisting individuals, businesses and nonprofits to buy, sell, refinance or otherwise transaction property across the State of Connecticut. Fully insured and a title agent with three title insurance companies, I can assist with any real estate transaction statewide with individualized personal attention to detail, and reasonable rates.

With this breadth of experience I try to assist my clients with legal needs affecting all aspects of life. This is not a high-volume firm and I don't advertise on billboards.
